i am fuming at the moment and my wife has made me so angry.. i live in germany and an ex jw, a friend of mine is also ex jw but does not understand english so i was giving him a rundown on the friday session of the rc with gj.

You mentioned some very interesting points. "Playing nice" and being fair is certainly the right thing to do. In your case you were walked all over, that is the same with me, but I shall not sink down to the same low depths the JWs do. My congregational status is fader. Not DF'd, not DA'd. Clearing my stand with the elders might well be a good idea, especially if I clearly state in my letter that I will do everything in my power to undermine the belief of my wife, extensibly also my child, this may cause the elders to coerce my wife into leaving me, which (as I am in Germany) will give me reason to bring criminal charges against the elders.

I shall give this more thought, thanks for expressing your ideas and feelings, I really appreciate that.

What you say is true. You can only check to see if something is true or not true by checking all the facts. But JWs are oh so indoctrinated. We should not forget that if a JW checks the accuracy of anything, he/she is considered an apostate and will be punished. Most of them a victims.

I am really pleased to hear that your wife is reasonable and got to know TTATT. As for my wife, even if she does turn around and realize the insidiousness of this cult, the damage has been done.

But I shall do every reasonable thing to keep my daughter out of this sect.

She believes everything the bOrg says in its magazines and books, and will not make any effort to check any of these things.

I have documented this experience here, I will do no more than that. I think the RC are looking at this site and others. If they contact me through a PM, I will give them whatever information they want.

Actually after this incident I decided to record every conversation I have with my wife, to document her outbursts or religious hatred. This will most definitely be to my advantage if there is an issue of child custody. I am sure the Youth Welfare Office would take an interest in these outbursts, as such things do have an affect on a child.

Well this cult really does have full control of my wife.

I do my utmost to keep the peace. Any kind of argument comes from my wife, and I really mean that. I have never been an argumentative person. What happened today was most definitely not my fault, I took reasonable measure to prevent her from listening to my private conversation, so to any reasonable person it was obviously private.

With this incident, my daughter was in the next room, the first she noticed was when my wife flung open the door and started screaming at me.

She is 15, she can reason, this is only going to turn her away from the cult, which is positive. Unfortunately the whole atmosphere is toxic, and I thank the bOrg for that. This will most definitely lead to divorce, I have expressed my unconditional love to my daughter.

I appreciate your concern.

I keep quite about what I know, because she only starts her screaming if I even mention for example Child Sex Abuse within the bOrg, which is well documented.

As for my daughter, I have made it clear to my wife that, if she does not want to go to any of the meetings or to study or prepare then she does not have to, I was very adamant about that.

The sex stopped when I stated that I did not want anything to do with the bOrg, she then moved out of the bedroom into the spare room, some six months now.

I am a fader, over 6 months now. If anything comes of this, it is my wife who instigated it, but as I have already mentioned in another comment I am already seeking legal advice, and would really love to have sufficient reason to bring criminal charges against the elders of the congregation, naturally leaving out the bOrg at the centre in Selters Germany, as the elders would then see how they are abandoned by the mother.

Although my wife is also a victim, as we all are or were, I cannot excuse her behavior. The one question that she should ask herself is why have I rejected the religion after almost 30 years. She will not do that, Cognitive Dissonance" at its best.

As for information available, in Germany or should I say the German language there is significantly less information than there is in English, but the information is there if one makes a search. Its great to be associated with you magnum, and I love reading your comments on other posts.

Thanks for your experience. I hope very much for you that your wife wakes up. I hope my wife does too. I cannot have any kind of conversation with her. She has not spoken reasonably with me now for over six months, I know she is being coached by the elders. I have already contacted a lawyer, and because the elders are meddling in our marital affairs there are three laws on which I can make criminal charges against them. Also a fourth law that of "Sedition" can most definitely be considered because it is religiously motivated.
